WPNS Posting Guidelines

We hope this blog will show the vitality of WPNS, provide our parents and children a virtual window into their school, and give the staff a new and fun way to connect with WPNS families. Posts may address school events, classroom projects, field trips, common developmental milestones, discussions on discipline, recommended reading, fun at-home activities to try, and more.

We follow guidelines to ensure the safety and privacy of WPNS children. We will help posters make sure their posts adhere to the guidelines as necessary, and we will moderate and approve comments before they're posted.

Posts to the Woodside Parents' Nursery School blog must follow these guidelines:

1. Only post pictures, video, or a recording of a child if the parents have given written consent.
2. Be cautious about the content of the pictures you post.
3. Do not publish children's last names or any other identifying information (addresses, phone numbers, etc).
4. Only identify a child by first name if parents have given their written consent.
5. Posts may include children's artwork if their parents have given written consent.
6. Don't plagiarize. Reference your sources, and include a link so readers can get more information.
