Small kindnesses

“Too often we underestimate the power of touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

-- Leo F. Buscaglia

In the M-W-F Class we are learning more each day about cooperative play and friendship. We’re learning that sharing, taking turns, and making others happy is also a personal reward.

One of the children brought some notes from home to pass out to friends at school. Upon opening the note, one of the children looked very carefully at the drawing inside and said, “This is very special.”  It is wonderful to see the “acts of caring” that happen in our class each time we are together.
